Paul King White, MD is an Emory trained, board-certified Physiatrist specializing in interventional pain management, sports injuries, neuromodulation, specialized injections, migraine treatment, CRPS, neuropathy, ultrasound injections, and personal injury cases.
Dr. White received his undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University in biology, while playing varsity tennis where he became an All-American. He finished his Medical School Degree at LSU Shreveport and went on to complete an internship in General Surgery at LSU New Orleans. Finally, he completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Emory in 2014 and has been in private practice since.
He is a 5th generation Medical Doctor, hailing from his father King, who is a cardiologist. At a very young age, Dr. White’s father would bring him to the hospital to shadow and learn what it took to be an MD. His father taught him to always listen to your patients and be kind. He chose the field of pain management because of his love for continuity, communication, and patient care. Pain Management can restore hope and function, while living a pain free life.
Dr. White treats patients suffering from all types of pain from migraines, sports injuries, nerve injuries, neck, low back, etc. Dr. White will develop an individualized treatment plan that starts with a physical assessment, therapy, imaging, medications, counseling, injections, surgery, and if needed long term analgesics.
Dr. White continues to give back to his community and still is an avid tennis player. He loves making hot sauce with his dad, traveling, and eating spicy foods. He lives at home with his lawyer wife Rebecca, a dog named Sully, a cat named Puddin, and 6 chickens.
