Courtney Reina is a Nurse Practitioner who combines thoughtful, patient-centric care with a conservative mentality, helping patients live pain free.
For Courtney Reina, medicine isn’t solely about diagnostics and procedures — it’s about listening, connecting, and treating the whole person. After graduating from Middle Georgia State University in 2023 and earning her Nurse Practitioner degree from Emory University in 2024, Courtney gravitated toward orthopedic and spine care, drawn to the intricacies of how the body moves — and how life depends on feeling strong and pain-free.
At Medici, she’s found the perfect home: a place where patient-centered care is forefront , where collaboration is encouraged, and where her conservative approach shines.
Courtney believes that healing begins with being heard. She is intentional during every visit — not only reviewing imaging results, but also walking patients through their MRIs explaining the results, and inviting a discussion.
"If you’ve taken the step to get an MRI, you deserve more than just ‘It looks normal.’ You deserve to understand what’s going on in your body and how we can work together to help you feel better."
Her treatment philosophy begins with the least invasive options: physical therapy, stretching, strength building, and movement-based care —progressing as needed to injections or more advanced procedures. She works closely with Medici’s in-house physical therapy and interventional pain specialist teams, to pinpoint root causes and avoid unnecessary medication or surgery
Patients can expect to see Courtney building trust through regular monthly visits. Splitting her time between the Kennesaw and Snellville clinics, she works exclusively in the outpatient setting giving her patients consistent care.
Collaborating with Medici’s clinical team, she often consults with other nurse practitioners or physicians to ensure an appropriate treatment plan.
"Your care doesn’t stop after a diagnosis or test — I’m with you through every step, making sure you’re supported, informed, and never alone in the process."
seamless teamwork, paired with Medici’s in-house diagnostics, physical therapy, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy makes it seamless for patients to get comprehensive care.
Born and raised in Alpharetta, GA, Courtney is as lively outside of work as she is in the clinic. A lifelong sports fan and former athlete, she enjoys tennis, pickleball, hiking, yoga, and working out. She is an avid Braves baseball and Auburn football fan. For Courtney, wellness isn’t just physical:.
"You can’t show up for others if you’re running on empty. I make it a priority to unplug and reset — living the same balance I encourage for my patients."
"Pain happens for a reason — but you don’t have to live with it. You’re not alone, and there are real, effective options to help you feel better."
Whether it’s your first visit or fifteenth, Courtney wants every patient to walk away feeling like they have a plan, a partner, and a provider who genuinely cares.
